After graduation I attended NAU for three years before dropping out. I became a police officer, making detective after four years. Three years later I came down with a case of the stupids and quit. I joined the family business and was a third generation drycleaner. After we sold the business I got serious and went back to school and earned an Associate in electronics.
I then went to school in Colorado to earn a Bachelor degree in electronics (leaving the family in Tucson). I moved the family to Colorado and went to work for a small firm in Boulder making video equipment. During this time I was also teaching part-time at ITT Technical Institute. I have been teaching at the college, part-time and full-time since 1992, and envision doing so until I retire. Along the way I earned a graduate degree in Information Technology.
I have been married since 1975 (still working on my first ex-wife). Donna and I have adopted two kids, Jeanne (when 5 days old) and Stephanie (at 8 months, from Korea).
I am now teaching at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in the Avionics Department.
