Bing Blenman

Bing Blenman

Bing was a sweet soul and like his brother Chip, he always had a smile and a positive point of view. I remember that in high school sports it seemed like he was double jointed in every limb in body, which made him a natural for his profession. He took great pride in his performances as a stuntman in films like Revenge of the Nerds and appearances at Old Tucson. Bing talked about injuries like the medals of valor they were and his descriptions made me wince. I know they had taken a toll and he said he'd retired from performing, but consulted and coached new stunt actors. He was an enthusiastic member of the planning committee for the 40th I came across his brief obituary looking to say 'howdy' and let him know plans for a 50th might need his help. Adios amigo.   From Laird Bradley.

I certainly agree with you about Bing, Laird.  He was indeed a sweet soul.  I didn't know Bing had passed; I'm so sorry to hear that.  A stuntman, huh.  What an interesting job that must have been.  I'll never forgot the "Blue  Buzzard", the jeep Bing had in High School.  And I'm sure all of us who attended our 10th reunion will remember Bing for . . . let's just call it - the "ladies' room indident"!  No doubt Bing is smiling down on us all.  God Bless you, Bing.  I'm sure he is.

The last I talked to Bing was at the 40th reunion. Definitely a sweet spirit. At the time, he seemed lonely & isolated. We all need to find that purpose that makes us keep dancing in the desert.

Bing was a nice guy who always had a big smile for everyone and each of life’s events. I recall the time Jeff used the now infamous  Blue Buzzard as a storage locker for a deceased duck. Lairds comments relating to Bings nimble nature brings to mind the time Jeff helped Bing demonstrate that a person could fit into a football locker and in fact the locker could be closed and locked with someone inside. I miss both of these guys.
